The sixth international industrial exhibition "Innoprom. Central Asia" opened today, April 20, in Tashkent. The forum will last until April 22 and serves as a key platform for discussing industrial cooperation, investments, and technologies in the region. Companies and delegations from over 30–35 countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, China, and Turkey, are participating in the event.

The exhibition features developments from approximately 350 companies, including around 100 Uzbek and 250 foreign participants. The total area of the exhibition is about 18,000 square meters. The forum brings together manufacturers, investors, and government representatives, focusing on developing industrial cooperation, launching joint projects, and implementing new technologies in sectors such as engineering, energy, transport, and urban infrastructure.

Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev emphasized that the forum unites not only regional countries but also partners from Europe, Asia, and Africa, reflecting growing interest in Central Asia as a new center of industrial growth. According to official data, the share of industry in Uzbekistan's GDP has reached 27%, with economic growth forecast at 7%. The key task is to transition "from a raw material model to the production of high value-added products."

First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov stated that cooperation with Central Asia is viewed as a "strategic priority for the sustainable and sovereign development of the region." Priorities include energy development, such as hydropower and nuclear power plant construction, as well as robotics, unmanned systems, biotechnology, and digital solutions.

Representatives of the Eurasian Economic Union noted that in conditions of global turbulence, integration associations are becoming tools of resilience. Member of the Board for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission Goar Bargesyan stated that, despite the "complex economic situation in the world," the union continues to strengthen the economic potential of member states through deepening cooperation in key areas.
