The United Arab Emirates came under a massive attack involving ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, sharply escalating regional tensions. The UAE Foreign Ministry blamed Iran for the escalation, while Tehran denied any involvement.

In response to the strikes on civilian and strategic targets, the UAE authorities announced the termination of the ceasefire agreement and stated readiness to take all necessary measures to protect sovereignty. National air defense systems intercepted 12 ballistic and 3 cruise missiles, but one of four drones reached its target on the east coast, sparking a fire at the Fujairah Oil Industrial Zone (FOIZ). This facility plays a strategic role in exporting crude oil bypassing the Strait of Hormuz.

The attack directly affected civilians: three Indian nationals sustained moderate injuries and were hospitalized. Due to the aerial threat, commercial flights were temporarily restricted in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and residents received emergency mobile alerts.

The UAE Ministry of Defense released overall statistics since the start of the conflict: 227 people have been injured and 13 killed, including civilians and military personnel. Despite Iran's denial of involvement, the UAE Foreign Ministry held Iran responsible for the escalation and condemned actions threatening international shipping.
