From May 13 to 15, the ancient city of Bukhara will host the 2nd Asian Women's Forum and the next meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. This large-scale event will turn the region into a global platform for discussing gender equality and women's empowerment.
The forum will bring together women parliamentarians, scientists, entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of international organizations and leading experts. The main goal is to enhance women's socio-political activity and strengthen international cooperation in this field.
The program includes not only discussions but also practical familiarization with the potential of the Bukhara region. Participants will visit major industrial enterprises, an IT park, modern vocational centers, and social institutions.
Special attention will be paid to the experience of exemplary mahallas (neighborhoods) and the preservation of unique cultural heritage sites. Organizers expect the forum to be an important step in exchanging best practices and developing new approaches to ensuring gender balance in the Asian region.
