South African police reported on Wednesday that gunmen opened fire in the Cleveland area, leaving nine others injured. The attack occurred Tuesday evening at the Jumpers informal settlement.

According to police, the suspects arrived in a white Toyota Quantum, entered from two access points, and fired at multiple locations before fleeing in the same vehicle. The motive remains unclear.
