Russia's Ministry of Defense reported shooting down 660 Ukrainian drones overnight, marking one of Kyiv's largest long-range strikes. The drones were intercepted over 13 regions, including Moscow and illegally annexed Crimea.
The attack targeted energy infrastructure, causing fuel shortages and disrupting Russian military supply lines. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the goal is to cut off a key revenue source for the Kremlin's war effort.
In the Tula region, a woman was injured and an industrial facility was damaged. Russian media identified the facility as the Azot plant, which Zelenskyy described as critical to Russia's explosives production.
Zelenskyy also accused Belarus of building military infrastructure near the Ukrainian border under Russian influence, allegedly to prepare for an expansion of aggression. He called for steps to prevent Belarus from being drawn into the conflict.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko denied any intention to fight Ukraine, but warned that if Kyiv tries to drag Belarus into war, the nature of the conflict would change. He urged reaching a substantive agreement.
