Interpol has identified a Ukrainian woman as the prime suspect in a bomb attack in Monaco that targeted a Ukrainian tycoon with alleged ties to Russia, according to officials.

Anastasiia Berezovska, 39, is wanted by Monaco on charges of attempted murder, placing an explosive device in a public place, and criminal conspiracy. The Interpol Red Notice seeks her arrest.

The explosion on Monday wounded three people, including Ukrainian construction magnate Vadym Yermolaiev, his partner, and his son. The partner remains in critical condition. Yermolaiev reportedly renounced his Ukrainian citizenship and was sanctioned by Ukraine in 2023 for his alleged ties to Russia.

Deputy prosecutor Morgan Raymond said the bomb was detonated remotely via a remote control. The device's remnants are being analyzed in France.

Initially, the suspect was thought to be a man, but further investigation revealed a woman disguised as a man. The suspect used a rented vehicle with German license plates and fled across Europe. Her last known address is in Germany.

German police searched her rented apartment and car but she remains at large. Prince Albert II of Monaco condemned the attack as "an odious act."
