Spanish rider Marc Marquez won the German MotoGP Grand Prix on Sunday at the Sachsenring, equaling Italian legend Giacomo Agostini's record of 10 premier class wins on a single circuit.
The seven-time MotoGP world champion started from pole and dominated the race, finishing 1.996 seconds ahead of Aprilia-Trackhouse's Ai Ogura, with Ogura's Spanish teammate Raul Fernandez taking third place.
Marquez, riding a Ducati, also won Saturday's sprint race, further cementing his reputation as the 'King of the Ring'. The 33-year-old said: "I'm super, super happy. It was a special weekend."
Marquez has reignited his title challenge ahead of the summer break, closing the gap to championship leader Jorge Martin to 18 points. Martin finished fifth on Sunday.
In the early stages, Marquez was battling his brother Alex Marquez until the latter crashed out on lap 10.
