At least four Palestinians have been killed and dozens wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza, despite an ongoing ceasefire agreement. The latest violations come as talks on the second phase of the truce remain deadlocked.

In Khan Younis, an Israeli airstrike on a tent encampment for displaced persons killed a man and an 8-year-old child. In the Bureij refugee camp, an 18-month-old baby died when a house was struck, injuring eight others. A Palestinian man on a bicycle was also killed in Gaza City, with 10 wounded.

Al Jazeera's Hind Khoudary reported that a strike on the Shati refugee camp left 35 families homeless, describing the aftermath as 'terrifying.' The attacks persist despite the ceasefire that took effect nearly 10 months ago.

Hamas officials are in Cairo for talks with Egyptian, Qatari, and Turkish mediators, but progress is hindered by Israel's refusal to withdraw from Gaza and cease attacks, as well as demands for Hamas to disarm. Hamas reportedly seeks amendments to protect civil servants' rights and proposes placing weapons under a Palestinian body.

Israel has failed to honor its obligations under the October 2025 agreement, which mandates 600 aid trucks daily. Restrictions on humanitarian supplies continue. Since the ceasefire began, over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed and 3,000 wounded.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed at least 73,341 Palestinians and wounded 174,086, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
