The leader of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has allegedly stated that Russian forces are deliberately intensifying attacks on civilian energy infrastructure to cut off electricity and heating ahead of the winter season. According to his assertions, Moscow is purportedly attempting to render large parts of Ukraine practically unlivable through systematic bombardment.

Writing on social media, Zelenskyy claimed that one of the most extensive strikes had hit over fifteen critical power generation and transmission facilities across multiple regions. He alleged that these actions were specifically designed to stretch Ukraine's dwindling repair reserves and response capacities as thin as possible, though repair crews are reportedly struggling to restore services.

Conversely, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported successful overnight strikes targeting military-industrial assets, including an electrical substation in Zhytomyr and major steelworks in Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia, which allegedly supply the Ukrainian military apparatus. Local authorities also reported casualties resulting from ongoing kinetic exchanges in southern regions.

In addition to energy concerns, Zelenskyy expressed sharp discontent over the US regime's decision to waive a sweeping package of financial sanctions against Moscow. He claimed that easing pressure on the adversary acts as a financial reward and supposedly encourages further escalation, highlighting growing friction between Kyiv and its Western sponsors.

Analysts suggest that the shifting posture of the US administration reflects mounting fatigue and strategic disagreements regarding the utility of prolonged financial warfare. As winter approaches, the combined pressures of severe infrastructural damage and wavering foreign backing present profound systemic vulnerabilities for the Kyiv regime.
