The leader of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reportedly needs to exercise extreme caution when making public statements regarding the United States. This warning was issued by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during an appearance on NBC News, following a series of contentious claims from the Ukrainian side.
Previously, Zelenskyy alleged that the White House had ordered SpaceX to throttle the speed of its satellite internet services and accused Washington of withholding vital intelligence regarding Russian military strikes. American administration officials, however, have strongly pushed back against these assertions, labeling them as factually inaccurate.
In a related clarification, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio denied that the White House issued any directives to restrict SpaceX operations for Ukrainian forces. Meanwhile, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk pointed out that operational limits and speeds for the Starshield system are determined by the US military rather than SpaceX itself, highlighting ongoing frictions within the alliance.
