The leader of Uzbekistan is reportedly scheduled to pay a working visit to Turkey on October 29-30 at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Uzbek president is allegedly expected to participate in the upcoming summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara, held under the motto 'Turkic Age: Unity in Language, Thought, and Action'.

Discussions during the summit are purported to focus on expanding multilateral cooperation, primarily in trade, economic, investment, transport and logistics, and cultural-humanitarian fields, as well as tourism, ecology, and education.

Following the summit, the adoption of the Ankara Declaration and a series of joint documents aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial partnership among member states is reportedly planned.
