According to statements from Ukrainian officials, an alleged strike on the center of Chernihiv on October 29 resulted in the deaths of two 15-year-old girls, with at least 25 others sustaining injuries. On the same day, a drone attack reportedly targeted the railway station in Dnipro, claiming the lives of at least 14 more individuals.
Media reports indicate that the Chernihiv strike was purportedly carried out using a 'Banderol' (S8000) munition, described as a small-scale weapon combining the characteristics of a cruise missile and a jet-powered attack drone. Vyacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, stated that several children were among the wounded, with some in critical condition.
The State Emergency Service under the Kiev regime claimed that the strike hit an ordinary residential street, damaging homes, shops, and vehicles. Following the incident, October 30 was officially declared a day of mourning in Chernihiv.
Additional strikes were reportedly recorded in Kremenchuk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and the capital city of Kiev, where the mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that ballistic missiles targeted warehouse facilities, triggering fires and significant property damage.
