Turkish industrial and investment conglomerate OYAK has reportedly declared its readiness to join the construction of modern residential complexes and external infrastructure facilities within the New Tashkent area. This development emerged during high-level discussions held on the sidelines of the Organization of Turkic States summit.

According to official reports, Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev received OYAK Chief Executive Officer Murat Yalçintaş on October 29. The meeting focused on exploring prospects for executing joint investment initiatives and expanding bilateral cooperation across various economic sectors.

During the talks, the Turkish executive purportedly expressed strong interest in establishing partnerships within the chemical industry, geological exploration, and construction fields. Yalçintaş specifically emphasized his intention to actively participate in building residential zones and essential infrastructure as part of the ambitious New Tashkent project.

On his part, the Uzbek leader noted that strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey have allegedly been developing steadily in recent years. The head of state further underscored that business circles and major corporate entities play an indispensable role in driving this multifaceted bilateral integration process forward.
