Ukrainian emergency services reported that an alleged Russian bombing of a humanitarian distribution center in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region village of Komyshuvakha has resulted in the deaths of 24 individuals. According to statements attributed to Ukrainian leadership, the strike targeted a local school building utilized for civilian aid.
The leader of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, purportedly claimed that the attack involved a secondary wave consisting of multiple bombs directly hitting a shelter where residents had gathered. Officials alleged that Russian forces were fully aware of the humanitarian function of the targeted location, describing the incident as an escalation of hostilities.
Regional authorities confirmed that the casualties included emergency workers and a police officer, while dozens of other citizens remain unaccounted for amid ongoing rescue operations. Simultaneously, similar aerial incidents were reported in the Kharkiv and Odesa regions, causing infrastructure damage and civilian injuries.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that its air defenses successfully intercepted numerous Ukrainian drones overnight, reflecting the persistent and widespread nature of the ongoing military confrontation with no clear resolution in sight.
