Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport has announced the launch of a new high-speed train service, 'Jaloliddin Manguberdi', on the Tashkent–Khiva–Tashkent route starting May 3.

The journey will take 7 hours and 30 minutes, with ticket prices set at 780,000 Uzbek soums (approximately $62).

The train will operate three times a week in each direction: from Tashkent to Khiva on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; from Khiva to Tashkent on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Departure from Tashkent Central Station is at 07:00, arriving in Khiva at 14:31. The return trip departs Khiva at 07:20 and arrives in Tashkent at 14:51.

The inaugural run from Tashkent is scheduled for May 3, followed by the first departure from Khiva on May 4.

Tickets can be purchased at railway stations or online via eticket.railway.uz.
