An investigation has concluded in Russia's Chelyabinsk region against 15 individuals accused of participating in an organized criminal community and the illegal sale of narcotics. Among those detained are citizens of Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
According to investigative data, the group distributed drugs through online stores across the territories of Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Kurgan, Voronezh, Moscow regions, and Perm Krai. During the operation, over 44 kilograms of prohibited substances, including heroin and methadone, were seized from the participants.
In total, the group committed 134 drug-related crimes of varying severity. All suspects have been placed in custody and charged with involvement in a criminal community and attempted illegal drug trafficking. The case has been forwarded to the Kurchatovsky District Court in Chelyabinsk.
Previously, the Soviet District Court in Chelyabinsk sentenced ten members of another group involved in organizing illegal migration. Nine individuals received actual prison terms, while one defendant was fined.
