Movement across the Uzbek-Kazakh state border in the Syrdarya region has been fully restored. The "Syrdarya" border customs post has resumed the passage of citizens and passenger vehicles in regular mode.

Construction and installation work for the reconstruction of the adjacent "Atameken" checkpoint (Kazakhstan) has been successfully completed. This has significantly simplified border crossing processes, providing residents and visitors of both countries with the opportunity for comfortable and rapid movement.

The updated terminal is equipped with modern control systems, which will reduce waiting times during inspections. Uzbek customs authorities emphasize that creating favorable conditions at this border section is part of a strategy to strengthen neighborly relations and develop transport corridors in the region.

The administration of the "Syrdarya" customs post appeals to citizens to strictly adhere to established rules for crossing the state border and to check in advance for the availability of necessary documents. The reopening of the post is expected to significantly reduce the load on other checkpoints in the Tashkent and Syrdarya regions.
