Denis Korostichenko, former head coach of Tashkent's Lokomotiv, has joined the coaching staff of Moscow CSKA. The specialist will serve as an assistant to Dmitry Igdisamov, a native of Tashkent who was appointed as acting head coach of the army club.

Korostichenko began his coaching career in 2010 within the Bunyodkor system, where he was responsible for the physical training of the youth team. He later continued his work at Lokomotiv, first as a fitness coach and then as head coach of the main team.

Subsequently, the specialist worked at Olympik, where he was first an assistant coach and then head coach.

CSKA's current head coach Dmitry Igdisamov was born in Tashkent. He previously worked with youth teams of Rubin and CSKA, and led the capital club's youth squad from 2023 to 2026. He is expected to manage the main team until the end of the season.

According to the latest data, CSKA occupies fifth place in the Russian Premier League standings.

Earlier, Ruzikul Berdiev, head coach of Qarshi's Nasaf football club, entered the ranking of the International Center for Sports Studies CIES Football Observatory, which evaluates coaches based on their tenure at a single club.
