Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz reports that two flights en route from Uzbekistan to Moscow were forced to alter their routes due to temporary restrictions imposed in Russian airspace.

The Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-603, operating on the Tashkent – Moscow route, turned around and returned to the departure airport, Islam Karimov Airport in Tashkent. The crew made this decision to ensure passenger safety.

The second flight, C6417 operated by Centrum Air, was traveling from Urgench to Moscow. It was redirected to an alternate airport and landed at Kazan International Airport.

Both decisions were made by the flight crews due to temporary restrictions in the airspace of the Russian Federation. Passengers have been informed about the situation, and the airlines are taking measures to minimize inconvenience.
