Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. Blogger Nikita Makarenko published photographs showing recent Instagram 'stars', accustomed to luxury cars and extreme driving, engaged in menial labor—washing and sweeping floors in places of detention.

The protagonists of these scandalous chronicles are Ismatillo Komiljonov and Shahzod Ahmadjonov. Previously in Tashkent, these young men organized dangerous races within the city limits. To gain popularity on social networks, the drivers accelerated Mercedes-Benz vehicles to speeds far exceeding permissible limits and also illegally used special sound and light signals.

The reaction from law enforcement agencies was immediate. Officers from the State Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who conduct daily monitoring of social networks, identified the racers. By court decision, both offenders were sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.

Makarenko is actively advocating for the need to strengthen accountability measures for such violators. In particular, there are calls for political parties to propose initiatives to confiscate vehicles from individuals who systematically endanger the lives of others for the sake of social media content.
