11-year-old Yasmina Husniddinova from Uzbekistan has participated in the casting for the 19th season of one of the world’s most famous talent shows, Britain’s Got Talent (BGT). Footage of her performance was released on March 24 in the “BGT Unseen” segment on the show’s official YouTube channel. Taking the stage, Yasmina briefly introduced herself, noting that she came to the UK from Uzbekistan with her family, and performed the song “Never Enough” from the film “The Greatest Showman”.
The young singer’s rendition amazed both the audience and the judges. The panel particularly praised vocal techniques unusual for her age. Judge Amanda Holden commented: “The power and control of your voice was just on another level. Congratulations!”. Her colleague Alesha Dixon focused on the performance’s dynamics: “I loved the contrast you created between the quiet moments and the really powerful parts. That was a very smart choice”.
Other judges, including KSI, expressed admiration for how long Yasmina could hold complex high notes. Ultimately, the schoolgirl received four “yes” votes and advanced to the next round. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London announced the event, calling on compatriots to support Yasmina and noting that she is the first Uzbek participant to perform on the British show.
For Yasmina Husniddinova, this is not her first success on a major stage. In 2024, she became one of the brightest stars of the first season of “The Voice Kids” in Uzbekistan, placing third in the final. The Tashkent schoolgirl is also the Grand Prix winner of the Sanremo Junior 2025 competition in Italy. Now, the talented Uzbek continues her quest for the top prize in the British show, watched by millions of viewers worldwide.
