A fatal road accident occurred in the Farish District of Jizzakh Region on April 4 at 16:05 on the "Jizzakh-Bogdon-Kizilcha" road. According to sources from Kun.uz, the driver of a Nexia, U.B., born in 1999 and a resident of Khatyrchi District in Navoiy Region, violated overtaking rules, leading to a collision with a Cobalt driven by 35-year-old B.A., a resident of Farish District.

As a result of the crash, both drivers died at the scene, along with a 54-year-old Chinese citizen who was a passenger in the Nexia. Two passengers in the Cobalt succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. Other sources report a total of seven fatalities—five at the scene and two in the hospital—though official confirmation is still pending, highlighting ongoing safety concerns on regional roads.

This incident underscores persistent road safety issues in the area, coming shortly after a separate collision in Navoiy that claimed five lives. Authorities are urged to conduct a thorough investigation and reinforce traffic regulation enforcement to prevent such tragedies.
