A traffic accident occurred on April 3 at 18:47 on Mustaqillik Street in the "Hamdoʻstlik" neighborhood of Andijan Region. According to preliminary information from law enforcement agencies, a 31-year-old female driver of a Cobalt car, due to inattention, hit two children who were playing on the road. The injured minors sustained injuries and were hospitalized for medical treatment.

The press service of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs reported that a pre-investigation check is currently being conducted regarding the incident. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the severity of the injuries. Traffic safety service officers are investigating all circumstances of the accident, including compliance with speed limits in the residential area and visibility conditions at the time of the collision.

The injured children were taken to the Andijan branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, where doctors conducted examinations and provided first aid. Their condition is stable, but they remain under observation. The incident has once again highlighted concerns about child safety on roads and driver responsibility in residential zones.
