In Andijan, a driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt vehicle hit two minor children standing on the sidewalk due to inattention. The incident occurred on April 3 at 18:47 on Mustaqillik Street in the "Hamdo'stlik" neighborhood.
According to information from the press service of the regional internal affairs department, the driver, born in 1995, identified as D.M., was driving his Cobalt vehicle from a residential area when he negligently struck the children on the sidewalk. First aid was provided to the children at the scene.
The injured children were sent for a medical examination to the Andijan branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care to receive urgent medical assistance. Their condition is currently under supervision.
Investigative actions have been initiated by officers of the Andijan city internal affairs department regarding this case. A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the extent of the bodily injuries sustained by the children, with results expected to influence the ongoing investigation.
