According to information released by the Hydrometeorological Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet), the weather over the weekend is expected to be mostly precipitation-free across many regions of the country. However, some areas may experience short-term rain and thunderstorms.

On Friday, short-term rain is forecast in parts of Tashkent Region and the Fergana Valley. No precipitation is anticipated in other regions, with air temperatures ranging from +13…+18 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday and Sunday, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some places in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions. On Sunday, light rain may also occur in parts of the Fergana Valley. Temperatures will gradually rise, reaching +20…+25 degrees during the day on Sunday, and up to +26…+28 degrees in the south.

On April 19, wind speeds of up to 15−20 m/s are expected in some areas of the northwestern regions of the republic, with dust storms possible. In the mountainous regions of the republic, intermittent rain is forecast from April 17-19, with precipitation (rain, snow) in high mountain areas.

Mudflows and flash floods may occur in foothill and mountainous areas. In Tashkent, light rain is possible throughout the weekend, with temperatures on Friday at +14…+16 degrees, Saturday at +19…+21 degrees, and Sunday at +21…+23 degrees.
