A large-scale project to develop green spaces and modern infrastructure has been launched in Tashkent. According to the press service of the city administration, construction of a new park and streets has started in several districts of the capital.
The project includes the creation of a new park covering over 10 hectares. The park will feature children's playgrounds, sports facilities, and pedestrian walkways. Additionally, more than 5 kilometers of new streets will be built, and existing roads will be repaired.
The city mayor emphasized the importance of the project, stating, "This will not only enhance the beauty of our city but also create comfortable conditions for recreation and a healthy lifestyle for residents." The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
Local residents have expressed support for the initiative. However, some experts have raised concerns about the environmental impact of such large-scale construction and budget costs. The funding sources for the project have not yet been fully disclosed.
