In Tashkent, a man allegedly hired an acquaintance to kill a woman with whom he was in a religious marriage. The suspect paid $2,000 as an advance and promised an additional $8,000 upon completion of the murder.
The man provided the hitman with detailed information about the victim, including her address, apartment number, car model, cohabitants, and daily schedule.
Criminal investigation officers conducted a special operation staging the woman's death. The hitman, previously placed under police control, cooperated with law enforcement.
On April 20, during the operation, the hitman met with the client and reported that the wife had been killed. Upon hearing this, the man handed over 6.5 million soums and a Tracker car registered in the victim's name, after which he was arrested red-handed.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 97 of the Criminal Code. The suspect is in custody, and investigative actions are ongoing.
