In Chirchiq, Tashkent region, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) saved a citizen who was being swept away by the current of the Bo‘zsuv canal. This was reported by the MES press service.

On June 19 at around 1:00 PM, rescuers conducting preventive patrols along the banks of the Bo‘zsuv canal in the “Sharq” mahalla of Chirchiq noticed a motionless person being carried away by the water flow.

The rescuers immediately jumped into the water and brought the citizen to the shore. The victim was unconscious and received first aid at the scene.

According to the MES, the citizen's condition is now stable. Preliminary reports indicate that he fell into the canal due to his own carelessness and, not knowing how to swim, was swept away by the strong current.
