Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. JSC "Toshshahartransxizmat" provided an official comment regarding an incident involving a bus, footage of which circulated on social media. The video showed a vehicle emitting thick black smoke from its exhaust.

It was determined that the incident occurred on February 26, 2026. The bus, model SAZ LE-60 with license plate 01 308 EKA, belongs to the "12th Bus Depot" branch and was serving route No. 184 between the Food City shopping center and Obihayet Street.

Upon detecting smoke from the exhaust system, the vehicle was promptly removed from service and sent to the depot for technical inspection. Currently, specialists are conducting repair work. The bus will only return to operation after the fault is fully resolved and it passes inspection.

The authority emphasized the importance of adhering to technical regulations and urged drivers to monitor the condition of their assigned vehicles more carefully to ensure passenger safety and maintain urban air quality.
