Zulfiya Isroilova was born on March 1, 1915, in Tashkent. After completing primary school, she studied at a women's educational institution. From 1935 to 1938, she pursued postgraduate studies at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
In 1931, her first poem 'I Am a Working Girl' was published in the newspaper 'Ishchi'. In 1932, her first poetry collection 'Pages of Life' was released. She later presented collections such as 'Temirov', 'Poems', 'Song of Girls', 'In Days of Separation', and 'Khulkar'.
From 1965 to 1975, her books 'Thoughts', 'Meeting', and 'Years, Years...' were published. She is the author of epic poems like 'They Called Him Farhod' and 'Fragments of Memory', and a laureate of the Hamza State Prize of Uzbekistan. She translated works by Pushkin, Lermontov, Nekrasov, and Ukrainka into Uzbek.
Zulfiya passed away on August 1, 1996.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the newspaper has prepared a test based on the poem 'Spring Came to Seek You' by Zulfiya Isroilova, a recipient of the Jawaharlal Nehru and Nilufar awards.
