The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan announced a temporary postponement of Umrah pilgrimages due to events in the Middle East.

The escalation of the situation in the region and temporary restrictions on airspace use have led to the cancellation of several flights.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised citizens to avoid travel to the area and to enhance precautionary measures for compatriots currently there.

To ensure citizen safety, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and tour operators are temporarily delaying Umrah pilgrimages.

Specifically, the scheduled March 2 flight from Tashkent to Jeddah for Umrah pilgrims has also been postponed for a certain period.
