The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has issued a notice to temporarily staying citizens regarding the state of emergency in effect until March 12 and the current security situation.

Under the state of emergency, kindergartens and schools are closed, and most businesses and organizations, except for essential services, have suspended operations. Public events have been canceled.

The diplomatic mission advised citizens to proceed to the nearest bomb shelters or protected rooms upon hearing sirens and follow local service instructions. It also reminded that photographing or filming rocket impact sites and air defense system operations is prohibited.

If rocket debris or suspicious objects are found, it is recommended to avoid approaching them and report to relevant services.

Foreign workers can contact the Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) call center under the Israeli Ministry of Interior at 1−700−707−889. Emergency service numbers: 100 — police, 101 — ambulance (Magen David Adom), 102 — fire and rescue service, 104 — Frontorti Command.

The embassy also explained the exit procedure from the country via the "Taba/Begin" border crossing with Egypt. Flights to Uzbekistan are being operated from Sharm el-Sheikh by Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, Qanot Sharq, and Air Samarkand airlines. In case of difficulties, citizens are advised to contact the Uzbek embassies in Israel or Egypt.

Yesterday, the President of Uzbekistan instructed the organization of flights to repatriate citizens from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. Simultaneously, the government is considering alternative routes for export-import operations, accounting for risks in the southern direction.
