On February 28, airspace in the Middle East was closed due to military clashes between Iran and Israel. This led to the cancellation of several flights between Uzbekistan and Dubai.

Flights to Tashkent by Uzbekistan Airways, Qanot Sharq, and Centrum Air were suspended. Passengers have been accommodated in hotels, with expenses covered by the airlines.

Passengers describe the situation as “calm,” though some explosion sounds were heard. Airlines and the Uzbek consulate in Dubai are providing updates via Telegram. Once airspace reopens, passengers will be transported to Tashkent.
