Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Thousands of believers attended the Eid al-Fitr prayer on the morning of March 20 to mark the end of Ramadan. One of the main prayer sites was the recently opened Imam Bukhari memorial complex in the Samarkand region.

The prayer was led by Mufti Nuriddin Khaliknazarov, bringing together imams, scholars, and believers from all regions of the country. In his address, the mufti noted that the holy month of Ramadan this year passed in a spirit of mercy, unity, and good deeds.

He emphasized that the new complex will serve not only as a place of worship but also as a center of knowledge, spirituality, and enlightenment, especially for the youth. During the prayer, supplications were made for peace, well-being, and prosperity of the country, with charitable events and festive activities held across the region to foster an atmosphere of unity and joy.

It is recalled that earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the reconstructed Imam Bukhari memorial complex in the Payarik district.
