New Branch of Abu Ali ibn Sina Specialized School Opens in Bukhara, Uzbekistan

A new branch of the specialized school named after the great scholar Abu Ali ibn Sina has been ceremoniously opened in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. It was previously reported that students from such schools have earned over one billion Uzbek soums in prizes at international olympiads.

The educational institution, built on the site of a former Mercy Home, is designed to become a center of enlightenment and in-depth study of the scientific heritage of ancestors. The opening ceremony was attended by the regional governor Botir Zaripov, who emphasized the special role of such schools in nurturing the country's future leaders.

13.5 billion Uzbek soums were allocated to create modern educational infrastructure. The new three-story building is designed for 360 student places and fully meets international standards. Students have access to 28 modern classrooms, three specialized scientific laboratories, a library, and a sports hall. A comfortable dormitory with 120 places is provided for children from other cities.

Particular attention in the school is paid to talent development through a system of specialized clubs. Directions such as Language Stars, Academy of Exact Calculation, School of Creativity and Inspiration, Reaction and Result, and Science and Nature are already operational here. Despite its recent launch, the school has already demonstrated high performance: 66 students specializing in natural sciences have won prizes at various subject olympiads.

At the conclusion of the event, the regional head and public representatives planted young trees on the school grounds. This action became a symbol of faith in the potential of the younger generation and the continuity of traditions. The specialized school named after ibn Sina is called upon to become a forge of qualified personnel who will make a worthy contribution to the development of the intellectual potential of New Uzbekistan.
