The automotive market is evolving, with drivers increasingly demanding solutions that combine efficiency and performance without compromise. The BYD YUAN UP DM-i addresses this demand as a new-generation compact SUV that integrates electric dynamics, low fuel consumption, and long-distance travel freedom.
A key feature of the model is the BYD Super Hybrid system with DM-i technology, allowing the vehicle to operate as a full electric car for daily use and as a hybrid for longer trips. The electric range of up to 110 km covers most daily commutes without fuel consumption, while a total range of up to 1,100 km eliminates any limitations outside urban areas.
Combined fuel consumption is just 3.1 L/100 km (NEDC), one of the best figures in its segment. Performance remains at electric vehicle levels, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, providing quick and smooth responsiveness in all driving conditions.
In the Uzbekistan market, the car is offered at a price of 266.7 million soums, delivering technology and features previously available in higher segments. The model's technological foundation includes the Blade Battery and an engine with 43.04% thermal efficiency, ensuring a blend of efficiency, safety, and durability.
Interior focus is on digital and everyday comfort: a 12.8-inch screen, voice control in Uzbek and Russian, 50W wireless charging, a panoramic roof, and a 360-degree camera system. The V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) function extends the car beyond conventional use, enabling connection of external devices and turning it into a power source for trips, leisure, and off-grid living.
As noted by Ivan Cao, Regional Managing Director of BYD Central Asia, buyers worldwide are increasingly seeking cars that offer the feel of an electric vehicle without range anxiety. The YUAN UP DM-i brings this balance to the compact SUV segment. The model sets a new standard: more trips, lower costs, and greater enjoyment.
