A working group led by Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov and Deputy Prosecutor General Isroil Adkhamov conducted an inspection at the 'Daryon' scientific-experimental station in the Tashkent district of Tashkent region. The inspection focused on greening efforts and the expansion of the dendropark territory under the Forestry Agency.
Under the initiative of the head of state, the dendropark area has been expanded by 77 hectares using reserve lands from the district khokimiyat. Work has begun on creating an additional forest zone on this site, where various tree species are being planted. Specialists also examined the location for a future artificial lake, with relevant instructions given based on the project.
During the inspection, particular attention was paid to the activities of entities using forestry lands under lease agreements. As a result, instances of illegal construction were identified. The working group issued directives for the demolition of unauthorized structures and the return of seized plots to forestry management.
Monitoring the targeted use of lands and expanding green zones in the capital's suburbs remains a priority within national environmental programs. These initiatives highlight the government's active involvement in environmental protection and natural resource management, though challenges such as illegal encroachments persist in implementation.
