A new and unusual method of drug trafficking has been uncovered in Uzbekistan. Criminals are placing prohibited substances inside balloons and selling them along roadsides. This was reported in a segment by the Milliy television channel, which focused on modern drug trade techniques.

The report highlights that these "goods" are sold at roadsides, with transactions conducted directly through car windows. This method enables the covert and rapid distribution of narcotics, differing from traditional approaches.

In response, law enforcement agencies have initiated raids to disrupt such distribution channels. These measures aim to enhance the effectiveness of combating emerging forms of drug trafficking in the region.

Recently, in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, authorities shut down a drug laboratory. Powerful substances and precursors with a total value exceeding 4.5 billion Uzbek soums were seized. This incident underscores the severity of the drug issue in Uzbekistan and the ongoing efforts to address it through enforcement actions.
