In Uzbekistan, the service of transferring money from card to card through mobile banking apps and fintech platforms is gaining increasing popularity. This service is used daily by millions of users – some for transfers between their own accounts, others for sending funds to friends or relatives. However, which apps allow free transfers up to a certain amount? A study by Kun.uz revealed that a number of banks and payment organizations provide this capability through their mobile applications.

According to the study's findings, users can make free transfers of up to 45.5 million soums per month using these apps. This represents a significant economic benefit, especially for small and medium-sized transactions. In most apps, no commission is charged for transfers from Humo to Humo cards, although there may be limits on the amount. Additionally, some banks do not impose extra fees for transfers between their own cards.

Holders of the Salom (Humo) card issued by TBC Bank have the ability to top up the card without interest and perform free transfers to Uzcard/Humo cards through the bank's app. This feature is particularly convenient for individuals regularly conducting money transfers. Furthermore, Uzum Bank offers free transfers of up to 100 million soums via its Uzum card, opening even broader opportunities.

It is worth noting that a daily income is accrued on the balance of the Salom card at a specific interest rate. This type of income can serve as an additional source of financial support for certain segments of the population. Overall, the development of mobile banking services and the expansion of free transfer options in Uzbekistan are contributing to enhanced financial inclusion among the populace.
