British boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have reportedly agreed to a long-awaited fight. The announcement was made by Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, on social media.
"My friends in the UK, this fight will happen. The contract is signed," he wrote. The bout is being touted as the most spectacular in British boxing history.
According to The Ring journalist Mike Coppinger, the fight is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026 (October–December). He described it as "the most grandiose fight in British boxing history."
Fury, 37, has held the WBA, WBO, IBO, IBF, and WBC titles, with a record of 35 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.
Joshua, 36, has been champion of IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO, boasting 29 wins and 4 losses in his professional career.
