The government of Uzbekistan has approved a procedure for reimbursing expenses related to taking exams for international accountant certification. Under the new rules, the state will cover registration and exam fees for citizens who successfully pass the exams.
A temporary regulation titled “On the Procedure for Reimbursing Expenses for Taking Exams within the Framework of International Certification of Accountants” has been approved by a government resolution. This procedure applies to citizens of Uzbekistan and stateless persons permanently residing in the country.
According to the regulation, successful candidates will have their initial registration and exam fees reimbursed. This rule applies to exams taken between May 1, 2026, and December 31, 2028.
Applicants can submit their requests through public service centers, the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services, or the website subsidiya.mf.uz. The application must include biometric passport or ID card details, documents confirming exam expenses, and a certificate of successful exam completion.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance will decide on reimbursement or rejection within 7 business days from the date of application.
