Uzbekistan's Anti-Corruption Agency has conducted an in-depth analysis of data on the use of tax and customs preferences in the country for 2025. The study, carried out in accordance with a presidential decree, revealed that the total amount of state-provided benefits reached a staggering 178.1 trillion soums.

The largest volume of preferences was in the tax sector. Over the year, 143,205 entities benefited from tax breaks, saving a total of 119 trillion soums. Legal entities were the main recipients: 139,020 organizations applied preferences worth 118.9 trillion soums. Individual entrepreneurs played a smaller role, with 4,185 businessmen using preferences totaling 120.7 billion soums.

In the customs sector, 15,346 organizations utilized preferences worth 59.1 trillion soums. A significant portion of these funds—12.6 trillion soums—was allocated to state-significant projects. Additionally, diplomatic missions of foreign states and their agents used preferences worth 345 billion soums. Notably, 75 permanent establishments of foreign legal entities in Uzbekistan applied customs preferences totaling 2.46 trillion soums.

The agency emphasizes that regular monitoring and timely disclosure of such data are critical for ensuring economic transparency and preventing corruption risks. It intends to continue examining the discipline of state bodies in publishing reports within legally established deadlines.
