During inspection raids in the Mirzaobod district of the Syrdarya region, cases of transporting kindergarten children in Damas vehicles exceeding the permissible limit were detected, the regional traffic safety department reported.
According to reports, one stopped vehicle contained 22 children, while another had 24 children.
The investigation also revealed that one of the drivers had previously been deprived of his driver's license but was still driving.
Preventive explanatory work was carried out with the responsible persons of the private preschool organization and the drivers. Administrative protocols were drawn up under Part 2 of Article 135 (Driving without a license — fine of five times the base calculation amount) and Part 1 of Article 128-8 (Violation of passenger transportation rules — fine of twice the base calculation amount) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
The vehicles were placed in an impound lot.
Earlier, in the Navoi region, a Matiz carrying 14 kindergarten children crashed. The driver was the head of a family kindergarten without a driver's license. The woman died, and the children were hospitalized with various injuries.
