In the first quarter of 2026, 42,300 marriages were registered in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The majority of brides were women under 30: nearly 15,000 marriages involved brides under 20, over 22,000 were in the 20-30 age group, and about 3,700 were women aged 31-40.

Over 1,200 women married after the age of 40. Last year, 155 girls were married off at an early age in the country.
