President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on May 15, according to the presidential press service.

The head of state will take part in an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development” in the city of Turkistan.

During the event, participants are expected to discuss expanding multilateral cooperation, primarily in trade, economy, investment, transport, communications, and ecology, as well as developing digital infrastructure, introducing innovative technologies, and practical application of artificial intelligence.

Heads of delegations will also address pressing issues on the international and regional agenda.

The summit is expected to conclude with the adoption of the Turkistan Declaration.
