Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Uzbekistan has established admission rules for the Higher School of State Audit: applicants will be required to hold international certificates, and some exams may be waived. The new system will take effect from the 2026–2027 academic year.
Measures for training professional personnel in state audit have been approved by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution. The innovations aim to improve the quality of specialist training and integrate educational standards into the international system. Auditor training will be organized at Tashkent State University of Economics, where the Higher School of Audit will gain faculty status.
Admission parameters will be set based on the needs of state customers, and educational programs will be developed using international experience from organizations such as Quacquarelli Symonds and Times Higher Education. They will be approved in coordination with the Accounts Chamber and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Key innovation: certification requirements. Applicants choosing the "State Audit" direction must hold certificates: foreign language – at least B2 level; mathematics – at least B level. With these certificates, applicants are exempt from corresponding exams and take only two subjects: native language and history of Uzbekistan.
The document has already entered into force – it was published in the National Database of Legislation and is effective from May 18, 2026. Earlier, it was reported that IT audit would be introduced in state bodies to improve the efficiency and security of information systems.
