The President of Uzbekistan has made personnel changes in the structure of the General Prosecutor's Office, updating the leadership of one of the key departments. According to the presidential decree, Kahramon Isroilov has been appointed as the new Deputy Prosecutor General — Military Prosecutor of the republic.

Isroilov replaced Otabek Kholboev, who was dismissed from his post. The official change in leadership was announced by presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

The reasons for the reshuffle, as well as further employment plans for Otabek Kholboev, were not specified in the official statement.

It is worth noting that the professional paths of both law enforcement officers have crossed several times within the supervisory body system. Back in 2022, by order of the Prosecutor General, appointments were made in the structure of the Military Prosecutor's Office: Kahramon Isroilov then took the post of deputy military prosecutor, while Otabek Kholboev was promoted to first deputy military prosecutor. Prior to that stage of their careers, Kahramon Isroilov headed the Military Prosecutor's Office of Navoi region, and Otabek Kholboev led the Military Prosecutor's Office of Tashkent city.
