Uzbekistan has proposed incentivizing individuals who report violations of competition and advertising laws. A draft regulation has been published for public discussion.

Under the draft, information about violations can be submitted orally, in writing, via electronic systems, or through hotlines. The monetary reward amount will be determined based on the remaining balance of fines collected by the extra-budgetary Fund for Promoting Competition Development, after budgetary deductions.

Anonymous submissions may be used by the committee for analysis, but they will not qualify for rewards. If multiple individuals report the same violation, the first to report will be rewarded.

The public discussion of the draft will continue until June 3.
