On Monday morning, the 'Last Bell' ceremonies are being held in all secondary schools across the republic. This year, a total of 472,000 boys and girls have completed their school education. On this occasion, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to the graduates.

In 2026, for the first time, over 11,000 students are graduating from school with gold and silver medals. The head of state noted that great efforts and resources are currently being mobilized to ensure that every school graduate finds a worthy place in life.

“We see in you, our children who are making future plans, the creative force that will glorify the new Uzbekistan… Of course, today's graduate is tomorrow's engineer, doctor, scientist, poet and writer, entrepreneur. Today's graduate is the builder of the Third Renaissance. You are the greatest hope and support of the new Uzbekistan,” the president said.

The country has 207 higher education institutions and 643 technical schools ready to provide students with knowledge, professions and qualifications. 171 young people have been admitted to leading universities around the world, and thousands more graduates have been accepted into domestic universities.

“I sincerely congratulate these children, their parents and teachers on such achievements,” the head of state said.

In his address, Shavkat Mirziyoyev urged graduates to be prepared for the demands of the new era and the labor market, to master foreign languages and modern professions.

“You see for yourselves, today life and the demands of the labor market are changing rapidly. New professions are emerging. Mastering language, profession, computer literacy and the skill of earning an independent income is becoming an important necessity. The labor market now requires not a 'document', but practical knowledge, skills and results,” he said.

“Today, an ordinary graduate from a rural school will become a world-recognized scientist tomorrow. Today, our ambitious, inquisitive young people who set big goals will create technologies that serve millions of people tomorrow. Today, a girl reading a book will tomorrow raise children who will take the country's development to a new level,” the president emphasized.

According to him, for young people who want to become entrepreneurs, banks are offering 25 trillion soums in cheap loans this year. A fund of $100 million has been prepared for graduates who have started startup projects.

The largest IT companies are ready to train at least 50,000 graduates annually in artificial intelligence and place them in high-income jobs. In the coming years, 168,000 hectares of super-intensive industrial gardens will be established.

The head of state assured that he will constantly support young people who want to participate in these projects and expressed confidence that they will become true masters of their craft in these new fields.

He noted that in today's rapidly changing era, the most important task is to be prepared for life and its harsh demands, and the closest friend and powerful weapon for young people on this path is the book. According to him, the book is a source of light, knowledge and example, so a person who reads a lot will never stray from the right path and will gain strong will and a broad outlook.

“In our life today, there are many achievements and young heroes who serve as examples for you. Our famous athletes who graduated from school four or five years ago — Javokhir Sindarov, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Abdukodir Khusanov — are admired by the whole world in chess and football. A short film shot by our young filmmakers was awarded the Grand Prix at the Inclusive Film Festival as part of the Cannes International Film Festival,” the president said.

“The other day, we saw off our national football team to the World Cup with great celebration. Such achievements, giving us boundless pride, have never happened in our history before. You see, if you sincerely strive and act, the youth of new Uzbekistan are capable of conquering such great heights,” Mirziyoyev said.

“I believe that among you too, such heroes of the nation, the pride of new Uzbekistan, will emerge. In this world, every conscious person lives striving to justify the trust of parents, teachers and the people. The greatest happiness and great honor for a person is actually this. You have finished school today, but the big school of life is just beginning. I wish you to become the owners of such incomparable happiness and high bliss,” the head of state said.

“Never be afraid to set big goals! Believe in yourself, always go forward! Be a generation living with the spirit of change and reform! May your first steps on this path be blessed and fruitful! May happiness and luck always be with you, my dear children,” the president concluded his congratulations.
