In Surkhandarya region, an electric car caught fire while charging at a station. Firefighters quickly arrived and extinguished the blaze within minutes; no injuries were reported.

According to the press service of the Surkhandarya Regional Emergency Department, the incident occurred yesterday, May 26.

At 16:22, an alarm was received by the unified emergency system '112': in the Bogishamol mahalla of Denau district, a Leapmotor C11 electric car parked at a charging station had caught fire.

Two fire and rescue crews promptly arrived at the scene. The fire was localized by 16:25 and fully extinguished by 16:30.

No one was injured as a result of the incident. Specialists are currently determining the cause of the fire and the extent of material damage.

Earlier, an explosion occurred at a gas station in Denau, injuring two people.
